Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patients undergoing elective ENT surgery 2. age > 18 years 3. ASA physical status 1 to 3 4. patients undergoing general anesthesia for more than 1 hr 5. written informed content obtained

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. having contraindication for axillary and rectal temperature monitoring 2. Underlying Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism and Peripheral vascular disease 3. Refuse to participate or withdraw their consent
