Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Differentiated thyroid carcinoma patients, age 18-75 years who undergo high dose (>100 mcu) RAI. 2. The person who can follow the protocol

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. abnormal glucose tolerance test 2. impaired plasma glucose, Diabetes mellitus 3. glucocorticoid used 4. creatinine > 1.5 mg/dl 5. liver disease; ALT > 2.5x Upper normal limit 6. previous treatment with radioactive iodine 7. pregnancy/planned pregnancy
