Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Prospective analysis of focused open parathyroidectomy of 20 patients with sporadic hyperparathyroidism

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with failed preoperative localization, diagnosed with multiple parathyroid adenomas, associated thyroid disease that warranted a transverse cervicotomy or had previous thyroid or neck surgery, were excluded from the study.
