Prevalence of strongyloidiasis in endemic area. Strongyloides stercoralis

Interventions

The control group was provided with health education of S. stercoralis infection including only a lecture of human strongyloidiasis about 5 minutes. The participants from control group being recalled
“S. stercoralis and strongyloidiasis advertising vinyl boards” (size 2 x 3 m) to promote in each village of this group&#44
and “S. stercoralis life cycle poster” (90x120 cm) with lecture given to participants about 20 minutes in this group. Subsequently&#44
the intervention group was reminded health education every month and checked used equipment every month by village health volunteers (VHVs). The participants from intervention group being recalled for

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The participants live in Nong Bua sub-district, Nong Kung Si district and Phu Din sub-district, Mueang Kalasin district, Kalasin province. The participants are an agriculturist and had age > 20 year olds.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The participants do not consent into this study, do not provide a stool samples, or migrated out of area.
