This study aimed to compare 3 lice control protocols approved by Ministry of Health and Medical Education,

On day 1,
each enrolled participant received,
free of charge,
a single 60 ml bottle containing 1% permethrin shampoo (Gilaranco,
or 4% dimethicone lotion (Dilice®,
Selmidaroo,
or freshly made vinegary shampoo for wet combing,
to be applied at home by the patient or her/his caregiver once per week for the first 2 weeks as per written instruction given during clinical visit. Patients who were to apply 1% permethrin shampoo w
