18 Years to 69 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) mainly adult individuals with systemic healthy; 2) individuals with ≥20 natural teeth; 3) for patients with periodontitis, individuals with at least two quadrants of moderate-severe chronic periodontitis findings.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) smoking; 2) systemic diseases may be reflected in the periodontium; 3) pregnancy; and 4) in the last 6 months, medication intake which may affect the periodontium or receiving periodontal treatment.
