Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients who underwent rectal surgery with colorectal anastomosis including anterior resection (AR), low anterior resection (LAR) and LAR with coloanal anastomosis (CAA) or intersphincteric resection (ISR) were included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Abdomino-perineal resection(APR) and Hartmann’s operation were excluded.
