the patients will receive intravenous antibiotic within 30 minutes before the operation and continue to 24 hours postoperatively.,In this group&#44

and switch to oral antibiotic until postoperative day 7.

18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Benign thyroid nodule (Single or Multinodular is eligible) 2. Follicular thyroid neoplasm 3. Graves' disease 4. Micropapillary thyroid carcinoma

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Unfit for surgery 2. Previous neck radiation 3. Previous neck surgery 4. Allergic to Penicillin, Amoxicillin or Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid
