Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The patients were 15 years of age or older who presented with hypokalemia (serum K+ concentration < 3.0 mmol/l) and acute muscle weakness with thyrotoxicosis.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of diuretics used, diarrhea or other underlying disease that could caused muscle weakness were excluded.
