Conditions

First ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke at least 6 months ago stroke

Interventions

Stroke patients will receive one session of anodal tDCS for 20 mins with the intensity of 2mA. The active electrode will be placed over the C3 or C4 (primary motor cortex according to EEG 10/20 syste

20 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) 6 months post first-ever stroke with unilateral motor deficits, (2) ability to walk independently for at least 10 m without use of walking aids, (3) a score of 24 on the mini-mental state examination (MMSE)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)unstable medical conditions (2) history of other diseases or conditions known to interfere with participation in the study (eg, epilepsy or metal implants in the brain)
