Interventions

2*100 millions of L.reuteri containing probiotic dietary supplement tablets will be used twice a day for 3 weeks.,Identically same tablets without live bacteria will be used twice a day for a 3&#45
week period.

Eligibility

Sex/Gender

Age
35 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Systemically healthy moderate CP patients 2) Patients that have not received periodontal therapy or drugs that may effect periodontium prior 6 months to the study 4) Non-smokers 5) No regular use of probiotic dietary supplements

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Sampling teeth with prosthetic restorations 2) Pregnant or nursing mothers 3) Smokers or former smokers 4) Allergic reactions to lactose or fermented milk products
