Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Primigravida -Maternal age > 18 years old -Singleton -Term (gestational age 37 weeks, or more) and -Mother-infant separation 6 to 48 hours after vaginal delivery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Maternal conditions &#45;HIV infection &#45;Pulmonary tuberculosis &#45;Heart disease&#44; hypertension&#44; diabetes mellitus&#44; Postpartum depression &#45;On medications ; antibiotics or chemotherapy &#45;Infection around the breast and inverted nipple. Infant conditions &#45;Birth weight > 4000 grams or < 2000 grams &#45;Neonatal resuscitation &#45;Birth trauma &#45;Neonatal infection&#44; respiratory distress&#44; cardiovascular disease&#44; neurological diseases&#44; digestive tract diseases&#44; urinary system diseases&#44; jaundice and hypoglycemia &#45;Hypothermia &#45;Congenital anomalies ; imperforated anus or cleft lip cleft palate.
