Elastic band exercise program is a resisted exercise intervention over 12 weeks. Subjects were asked to used elastic band to resist their legs during alternate flexion&#45
extension movement in sitting position. The program performed 2 times/day&#44

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Female knee osteoarthritis individuals - Having knee osteoarthritis 1 or 2 sides - Having severe knee osteoarthritis classified by index of severity for knee osteoarthritis (Knee ISOA)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Having musculoskeletal and neurological problems limiting resistance exercise for legs - Having history of fracture or surgery on legs - Having history of steroid injection at knee lesser than 2 weeks prior to participate in study - Having communication and cognitive problems - Having mild, moderate, very severe and extreme severe knee osteoarthritis classified by index of severity for knee osteoarthritis (Knee ISOA)
