Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ​Pediatric patients, ASA 1-2, aged between 0-8 years who were scheduled for elective lower abdominal surgeries, lower extremities, or surgeries in groin/perineum region.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who had 1) contraindication to caudal block/general inhalational anesthesia, 2) known structural heart disease, or 3) short stature, abnormal growth development or diagnosis of failure to thrive were excluded.
