Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. body mass index (BMI) = 18.5 – 22.9 kg/m2 2. fasting plasma glucose < 100 mg/dL 3. fasting plasma triglyceride < 150 mg/dL 4. total cholesterol concentration < 200 mg/dL 5. blood urea nitrogen (BUN) = 5 &#45; 20 mg/dL 6. creatinine = 0.6 &#45; 1.2 mg/dL 7. AST < 40 U/L 8. ALT < 40 U/L 9. non&#45;smokers and non&#45;alcohol users

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded from the study if they were diagnosed with any chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus etc. or took any medication or used any dietary supplements related to antioxidants and glycemic response.
