Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with ADHD (aged 6&#45;18 years) and iron deficiency (ferritin level < 30 ng/mL or transferin saturation < 16 %) who have been on steady dosage of methylphenidate for at least 1 month

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. non&#45;verbal IQ < 70 measured by the Test of Nonverbal Intelligence&#44; 3rd edition. (TONI&#45;3) 2. patient with anemic symptoms 3. hematocrit <30%
