Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ≥18 years of age Clinically diagnosed with knee OA according to the criteria of the American College of Rheumatology Radiographically diagnosed with severe knee OA (grade 3–4) as defined by the Kellgren–Lawrence classification [17] Scheduled for total knee arthroplasty (TKA) within 2 months
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Established diagnosis of a bleeding disorder Currently used vitamin E-containing drugs or dietary supplements On anticoagulants, or antiplatelet therapy Had a vitamin E allergy.
