Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria 1. Thai postmenopausal women age > 50 years 2. Body mass index ≥ 25 kg/m2 3. Serum 25&#45;hydroxy vitamin D < 30 ng/ml 4. Ambulatory and community&#45;dwelling setting 5. Women who are willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria 1. Women who used vitamin D contained medicine within 12 weeks 2.Women with history of malignancy 3.Women with history of liver disease or having abnormal liver function test 4.Women with history of renal disease or having abnormal renal function test 5.Women with history of hyperparathyroidism disorder 6.Women with history of malabsorption or bowel surgery 7.Women with history of diabetes mellitus
