40 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. FEV1/FVC < 70% 2. Moderate stage; 50% <FEV1< 70% predicted 3. Severe stage; 30% <FEV1< 50% predicted 4. Age 40 to 80 year old 5. Has a 10 pack&#45;year smoking history 6. Good communication

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Cardiovascular system contraindications for exercise and exercise testing 2. Long&#45;term oxygen therapy or pulse oxygen saturation < 90% at rest 3. Clinical unstable and exacerbations&#44; defined by increase in chronic inhaled therapy&#44; within the last four weeks 4. Musculoskeletal pain or weakness that limit independent exercise 5. Cardiovascular disease e.g. coronary disease&#44; anemia&#44; heart failure&#44; and uncontrolled hypertension 6. Neurological impairment e.g. poor balance and co&#45;ordination&#44; abnormal movement 7. Patients who have to use medicine that reduces heart rate (Beta 2&#45;blocker&#44; Diltiazem&#44; Isoptin&#44; etc.)
