Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: women presented to the ECDU and planned to undergo office (diagnostic) hysteroscopy for various indications (figure 3), including abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility or missed IUCD threads.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women who had a contraindication to hysteroscopy (e.g. suspected pregnancy, genital tract infection) and those who had a contraindication to piroxicam (known hypersensitivity or peptic ulcer disease) were not included in the study.
