before sternal closure patients will be receive 1 gm of TA + NSS 100 ml soak in pericardium when sternum being closed with clamping drainage tube and suction the drain content after finish sternal clo

15 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elective on-pump cardiac surgery in Maharaj Nakorn Chiangmai Hospital Age more than 15 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Re-do operation 2. Emergency/Urgency case 3. Bleeding diathesis (hemophilia or platelet count 2.0 mg/dL) 5. แพ้ยา Tranexamic acid 6. หยุดยาต้านเกล็ดเลือด (Aspirin, Clopidogrel) น้อยกว่า 7 วัน 7. ใช้ Heparin ภายใน 24 ชั่วโมงก่อนการผ่าตัด 8. Aortic surgery 9. Reoperation to stop bleeding from obvious surgical cause
