60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: &#45; COPD diagnosis according to GOLD criteria; post bronchodilator FEV1/FVC<70% &#45; Male and female patients aged over 40 years &#45; Written informed consent by the participant &#45; Smokers or ex&#45;smokers with a smoking history of more than 10 pack&#45;years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: &#45; Lower limb joint surgery in the preceding 3 months &#45; History of acute exacerbation for at least three months prior to the enrollment. &#45; Unstable medically to perform exercise tests &#45; Predominant neurological or musculoskeletal limitation to walking &#45; Current diagnosis of asthma&#44; current active respiratory disorders other than COPD&#44; e.g. lung cancer&#44; tuberculosis or other significant chest x&#45;rays findings not associated with COPD (documented within 1 year).
