Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age ≥40 year 2. Diagnosis of COPD 3. Acute exacerbation 4. Hypoxemia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acut hypercapnia 2. Need for non-invasive or invasive mechanical ventilation 3. Severe hemodynamic instability 4. Severe comorbidities (Cardiovascular, Cerebrovascular disease) 5. Pregnancy
