Interventions
All participants received 14 x 100 ml bottles of standard Yakult at the start of the study. Participants were instructed to consume one bottle daily for 14 consecutive days,
one hour after the evening meal,
to be consumed over a period of 30 seconds.

Inclusion criteria: Healthy (no systemic diseases)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Smoker Alcoholic Pregnant Taken prescription medication/antibiotics within 4 weeks prior to study start Consumed probiotics/probiotic-containing beverages within 2 weeks prior to study start Prior restorations on maxillary canines and premolars
