Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age more than 18 years respiratory rate more than 24 breath per minuts use of accessory muscle or abdominal paradox room air oxygen saturation below 95 %

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cardiac arrest Unstable medical condition e.g. shock myocardial infarction Respiratory failure defined by respiratory rate > 35 breath per minutes and oxygen saturation < 90% after oxygen theary High risk for aspiration Large amount of secretion Glasgow coma scale < 13 unco&#45;operated patients untreated pneumothorax recent airway or upper GI tract or esophageal surgery unfit mask pregnancy required immediate intubation
