Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Age more than 18 years old • Evidence of acute onset of new vitreous hemorrhage within 1 month • Visual acuity worse than 20/50 or decrease more than 3 lines of EDTRS • Initial conservative treatment plan for vitreous hemorrhage • Good compliance to participate our study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • History of recent eye injury within 3 months • Previous treatment with anti-VEGF agents or intravitreous drug injection within 1 month before enrollment or plan to have intravitreous drug injection within 1 month • Surgeon preference to surgery • Vitreous hemorrhage or echographic evidence of retinal break or rhegmatogenous retinal detachment • Cataract grading more than nuclear sclerosis grade 2+, cortical grade1+, posterior subcapsular grade1+ and posterior polar cataract • Patients who have limitation to head elevate position at 45 degree such as patients with neck and C-spine abnormality • Patients who have limitation to lie in normal position such as patients with heart failure, end stage renal disease with pulmonary congestion
