Interventions

perform episiotomy after crowning of fetal head in second stage of labor,avoid episiotomy unless indicated for fetal indications and/or avoid severe laceration

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: pregnant women age > 18 years old and able to read and write singleton pregnancy gestational age>34 wks. fetal cephalic presentation planned vaginal delivery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnant women with planned cesarean section
