Interventions

We give individualized medical nutritional therapy together with self blood glucose monitoring for this arm. Both arms are received their own and unchanged diabetic medications. For safety issue&#44
both arms may be decrease in diabetic medications&#44
if feasible with hypoglycemia,We give our usual care to patients with type 2 diabetes. Both arms are received their own and unchanged diabetic medications. For safety issue&#44

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. diagnosis of type 2 diabetes 2. Hemoglobin A1C more than 6.5 % within 3 months before enrollment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hemoglobin A1C more than 9% within 3 months before enrollment 2. insulin or Glucagon-like peptide-1 agonist users 3. Liver cirrhosis 4. Pregnancy or expected to pregnant within 1 year 5. Receive tube feeding 6. Glomerular filtration rate less than 60 ml/min/1.73m2
