20 Years to 100 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients who have pterygiums (Primary or recurrent) at nasal, temporal or sides with at least one indications for excision as below - pterygium-induced astigmatism - A pterygium hinders visual axis - A pterygium causes problems for eye movement - recurrence of inflammation of pterygium - patients require excision to correct cosmetic appearance.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - History of corneal trauma - patients with corneal diseases including cicatricial ocula surface diseases and corneal scar - patients who have recurrent pterygium during post-operative follow-up - patients who has undergone ocular surgeries except for a pterygium surgery before they are recruited into this study.
