Peeling off of the clear occlusive dressing with or without dislodgement of epidural catheters were occurred frequently. They caused the high workload of APS doctors to change the dressing to prevent Benzoin Tincture Clear occlusive dressing Peeling off Epidural catheter Dislodgement

Interventions

Using standard method of applying the clear occlusive dressing including pressing the catheter site to stop bleeding from puncture site
careful applying the dressing starting from the center&#44
no stretching&#44
no air under the dressing
peeling the paper at the edge of the clear dressing little by little together with using the finger to press at its edge.,Before applying the dressing as above&#44
use the benzoin pad to apply the benzoin tr. to the area of block including the puncture site to the extent that is a bit wider than the size of the dressing.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Elective surgery in General or Vascular Surgery, CVT surgery, Gynecological Surgery Units 2.Planned to use continuous epidural analgesia receiving epidural infusion for 24 hours or more for postoperative analgesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of allergy to cosmetics, benzoin tr., any tapes or materials that applied to the skin
