The Breastfeed Observation Aid or form can help health workers remember what to look for when observing and can help to recognise difficulties.

The aid is divided into sections,
each of which lists signs that breastfeeding is going well or signs of possible difficulty. A tick can be marked if the sign is observed. If all the ticks
are on the left hand side then breastfeeding

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were women who delivered without complications i e multiple pregnancies preeclampsia antepartum hemorrhage and preterm labor at the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sririndhorn Medical Center and had accepted to be participants
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were; women who had postpartum hemorrhages or had had any contraindications to breastfeeding.
