Interventions
A general health education program.,The weight reduction program included 2 phases. The first 12-
week weight-
control phase consisted of 8 teaching sessions (overweight and obesity,
dietary,
weight control,
and negative emotional management) led by the school teacher (40 to 60 minutes each),
once a week for the first 4 sessions and once every 2 weeks for the last 4 sessions. In addition,
the 30-
minute free-
choice PA sessions were offered 3 times a week,
while participants engaged in their favorite exercises and PA as a group or on their own during exercise times. Moreover,
they were asked to take notes on their daily PA and dietary intakes. The second 12-
up phase,
there was no structured activity except for some stimulation techniques such as individual and group meetings,
supports,
good communication,
and group counseling.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Secondary School Students BMI for age and sex > 85th percentile (WHO 2007)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Musculoskeletal disorder Cardiovascular disease
