Interventions

All patients will undergo collecting specimen to culture in conventional method in standardize technique and inoculated directly to blood agar plate &#44
chocolate agar plate&#44
sabouraud’s dexterous agar plate and brucella agar plate &#44
collected in thioglycollate broth and smeared on slide for gram stain and KOH.The liquid specimen such as pus&#44
discharge are collected by aspiration into insulin syringe at least 0.1 ml then is devided to equal 0.02 ml of specimens to all plates and broth. The sequence of specimens placing on medias are rando
it will be divided into equal 0.02 ml of specimens then inoculated directly to blood agar plate&#44
sabouraud’s dexterous agar plate and brucella agar plate as the same of conventional plates

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Patients with presumed ocular infection of bacterial keratitis who has corneal scraping,corneal biopsy or penetrating keratoplasty. -Patients with presumed ocular infection of bacterial endophthalmitis who has vitreous tapping, diagnostic vitrectomy to collected specimen or evisceration. -Patients with presumed ocular infection of bacterial orbital cellulitis with collecting specimen for cultivation. -Patients with presumed bacterial ocular abscess such as hordeolum, sclera absess with collecting specimen for cultivation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients with suspected nonbacterial infection. -Inadequate ocular specimen for cultivation. -Patients refuse to enroll the study.

The yield of cultures of presumed bacterial ocular infection in broth media compare to conventional 18 months The yields of positive cultures between conventional methods with broth media (thioglycollate)

the prevalence and incidence of causative microoraganism in ocular infection 18 months identify causative microoraganism in ocular infection,the sensitivity and specificity of microlobiological identification 18 months identify causative microoraganism in ocular infection and yield of positve culture
