Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients 20 – 60 years of age. 2. Both male or female gender. 3. Newly diagnosed T2DM as per World Health Organization criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Existing coronary artery disease 2. Renal disease 3. Liver disease 4. Gastrointestinal diseases assessed on history and medical record review.
