Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Fatty liver on ultrasonography of the hepatobilliary system - Hepatocellular steatosis is the hallmark of NAFLD, and steatosis in more than 5% of hepatocytes is required for the diagnosis of NAFLD. Fatty liver is diagnosed based on the following ultrasound parameters; parenchymal brightness, increased echogenicity of the liver parenchyma in comparison to the cortex of the right kidney, deep beam attenuation, bright vessel walls, and gallbladder wall definition.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease 2. Co-infection with HBV 3. Co-infection with HCV 4. Pregnancy
