Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age over 18 years 2. Chronic diabetic wounds which have lasted over 1 month 3. No clinical evidence of occlusive arterial disease
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Uncontrolled diabetes needing inward management 2. Clinical evidence of concurrent occlusive arterial disease (OAD). 3. Other co-morbidities requiring use of systemic antibiotics 4. Any patient needing surgical intervention or use of other methods (rotational antiseptics) to control wound infection. I 5. Known hypersensitivity to acetic acid or ascorbic acid
