Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Women with singleton uncomplicated pregnancy 2. 40 weeks of gestation with reliable pregnancy dating by ultrasound scan 3. Cephalic presentation 4. Unfavourable cervix (MBS<4) 5. Aged 18 years and above 6. No contraindication to vaginal delivery .
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Any medical complications (e.g. Pregnancy Induced Hypertension, Gestational Diabetes Mellitus) 2. Planned caesarean section 3. Fetal Growth Restriction 4. Past caesarian section 5. Fetal anomalies 6. Polyhydroamniosis or oligohydroamniosis
