Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Performance within the normality standards in the mini mental state examination. Absence of a history of cranioencephalic trauma. Failure to history of stroke. Absence of history of depression. It is necessary to be without exercising regularly and systematically for at least six months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age less than sixty years. Score below the normality standards in the mini mental state examination.History of traumatic brain injury. History of stroke. History of depression. Regular practice of physical exercise in the last 6 months. Visual acuity above twenty by thirty according to the Snellen test.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoint of the study is the significant improvement of various cognitive functions. To this end, participants will be evaluated and re-evaluated through the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE), semantic and phonological verbal fluency, CERAD word list and automated neuropsychological tests (CANTAB).;Another primary outcome is the improvement of physical and functional parameters of the elderly after the proposed interventions. It is proposed that the group stimulated with physical exercise and dual task cognitive stimulation obtain more robust beneficial results in comparison to the control group. For this, the elderly will perform physical and functional evaluations and reassessments that will include the cardiorespiratory fitness (Six-minute Walk Test), functional mobility (Agility and Balance), Agility (walking test 6 meters), muscular strength of lower limbs lifting in 30 seconds) and upper limb muscle strength (dynamometer); The dual task test will be performed by the Walking While Talking test.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome is the decline of physical and functional parameters prior to the decline of cognitive functions after the interventions. For this the elderly will be reevaluated over the 4, 8 and 12 months with the same evaluation instruments: Mini mental state examination (MMSE), semantic and phonological verbal fluency, CERAD word list and automated neuropsychological tests (CANTAB). In addition to Six-minute Walk Testing, Balance and Agility, Walking Test 6 meters, sit and stand up in 30 seconds and upper limb muscle strength (dynamometer); The dual task test will be performed by the Walking While Talking test.
