Age
7 Years to 12 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Having a diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; age between 7 and 12 years; inserted in a regular school environment; have a degree of understanding and collaboration compatible with the performance of activities tenders; the guardians agree to their participation in the study by signing the Free and Informed Consent Form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with epilepsy; metal implant in the brain or hearing aids; intellectual, sensory or motor disabilities that limit the performance of the neuropsychological procedures proposed in the study.

Presentation of the expected outcome 1: Transcranial anodic direct current stimulation in the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex would have superior effects compared to the effects of placebo stimulation, in inhibitory control and attention processes in children and adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ; which would be verified through the application of repeated outcome measures in the pre-evaluations, immediately after and three months after the intervention. The level of significance adopted for the statistical tests was 95%.;Presentation of the outcome found 1: Superior effects of anodic transcranial stimulation on the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex were observed, when compared to the effects of placebo stimulation, on the symptoms of hyperactivity of attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder. The verification of the effects was performed through the application of repeated outcome measures in the pre-evaluations, immediately after and three months after the intervention. The level of significance adopted for the statistical tests was 95%.;Presentation of expected outcome 2: Investigate whether the effects of transcranial direct current stimulation would last for three months after the end of the intervention, by means of an evaluation using repeated measures of outcome, three months after the intervention.
