Lower limb lymphedema

Interventions

The study will consist of 20 subjects, which will be randomized into 2 groups (10 patients in each group). Intervention: aquatic physiotherapy: will be contemplated with exercises in the pool with imm
Jetted jet pool whirlpool throughout the compromised limb. After the water exercise session, patients have bandaged limb lymphedema. control intervention:: You should receive a physiotherapeutic prot
kinesiotherapy and functional compressive bandage performed using tubular mesh, foam and elastic bandages
skin care and hygiene with guidelines on cleansing and moisturizing the affected limb. All participants will be properly monitored throughout the study.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Lower limb lymphedema

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of topical antifungal and prophylactic antibiotics for secondary infections; infectious processes active and not treated during the project; thrombophlebitis; active neoplasms at the site of drainage, cellulitis, deep venous thrombosis in the acute phase, cardiac, hepatic and renal decompensations, and uncontrolled hypertension; significant lower limb arteriopathies and neoplastic degeneration of lymphedema.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A reduction in lower limb lymphedema, measured by centimeter perimeter at the end of the intervention, is expected.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
An improvement in patients' quality of life is expected, using the short form of the Quality of Life Questionnaire - SF-36 as the evaluation method.;It is expected to increase the range of motion of the ankle joint as measured by goniometry.
