Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Acute grade I or II Hamstring muscle injury.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Regular use of antiinflamatories, analgesics and/or alimentary supplements; Grade III muscle injury; Neural symptoms during evaluation.

Design outcomes

MeasureTime frame
Duration of treatment until discharge in days: In order to assess the athletes condition to go back to sports practice, evaluations of Hamstring isometric strength, Hamstring flexibility, muscle architecture (fascicle length, pennation angle and muscle thickness), performance on single-leg hop test and H-Askling test.
