Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female sex; age equal to or greater than 18 years; diagnosed with Fibromyalgia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Failure to perform the evaluation protocol; failure to sign the consent form; contraindication to the techniques of relaxing classical massage and myofascial release; undergoing treatments involving any of the proposed techniques; lack of adherence to treatment sessions

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A reduction in pain intensity is expected in women diagnosed with fibromyalgia, as assessed by the visual analogue scale and the Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ) scores

MeasureTime frame
An improvement in quality of life is expected in women diagnosed with fibromyalgia, as measured by the scores of the Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ);An improvement in sleep quality is expected in women diagnosed with fibromyalgia, as measured by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) ;An improvement in physical capacity is expected in women diagnosed with fibromyalgia, as measured by the sit-to-stand test, the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test, and upper limb dynamometry using the handgrip strength test;An improvement in cardiac autonomic control is expected in women diagnosed with fibromyalgia, assessed by increased heart rate variability measured with a heart rate monitor
