Eligibility

Age
10 Years to 18 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Sedentary and / or overweight adolescents. Have independent walking. Present preserved cognitive ability.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hearing loss. Visual deficit. Neuromuscular diseases. Have undergone surgery on lower limbs less than 6 months.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effects of virtual reality training on sedentary and / or overweight adolescents, by comparing the sample before and after intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Blood pressure values, lipid levels, glycemic levels, CRP, O2 saturation, heart rate, weight, fat height, body mass index, waist circumference, hip waist ratio, functional capacity, perceived exertion level and metabolic equivalent; Identify the sample's socioeconomic profile, using the 2018 version of the New Brazil Economic Classification Criterion;Assess the level of physical activity using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire.;Identify Eating Habits, the intake of fats and fibers. For this we will use the Simplified Dietary Frequency Survey. ;Measure blood pressure, according to the 7th Brazilian blood pressure policy;Analyze satisfaction with physical activity, using the Pleasure Scale in Physical Activity.;To determine the percentage of body fat, for this we will use the Slaughter protocol for children and young people described in 1988.;Determine readiness for physical activity using the Par-Q physical readiness questionnaire.
