Eligibility

Age
60 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged sixty or over; length of hospital stay equal to or greater than two days and equal to or less than ten days; classified as fragile or pre-fragile

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: were hemodynamically unstable patients; patients with bone fractures that make intervention impossible; patients with neuromuscular diseases; patients unable to obey simple commands; patients using sedation and / or neuromuscular blockers and patients who are contraindicated to receive the NMSE.

gain muscle strength, collected through the test and sit and stand one day before the intervention and onde day after the intervention
