Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients older than 18 years old and prevalent in chronic HD for at least three months were included;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with cancer, HIV-positive undergoing antiretroviral therapy, end-stage liver disease, heart failure disease with ejection fraction less than 30%, clinical diagnosis of acute infection, (or using antibiotics), chronic inflammatory diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
