Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children in general good health; acceptable level of oral hygiene; with at least two teeth with HMI affecting the middle third of the dentine and without pulp or periradicular involvement; at least two surfaces of the affected tooth with MIH stains, but the staining should not involve more than 50% of the dental enamel.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with enamel malformation associated with syndromes; imperfect amelogenesis; first permanent molars with completely destroyed crowns, dental fluorosis or dental erosion; Children with poor oral hygiene; children using fixed orthodontic appliances or with gastroesophageal reflux.
