Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Men or women aged 18 to 59; Diagnosis of major depressive disorder (single or recurrent episodes) by a psychiatrist; No psychiatric comorbidities such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or substance abuse disorder; For women, not being pregnant or lactating; No participation in regular resistance training in the past six months; No cardiovascular or musculoskeletal contraindications that may limit participation in the exercise program
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Missing six or more exercise sessions during the intervention; Missing three consecutive sessions; Failing to complete the scheduled assessments during the intervention
