The intervention group will participate in 24 biodanza sessions once a week lasting 120 minutes, divided into two parts: (1) a verbal phase of 35-45 minutes in which the whole group will sit on the fl

Age
18 Years to 110 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Volunteers who are assisted in the Psychosocial Care Centers; 18 years of age or over; signs and symptoms of depression through the results of the application of the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview and or Beck Depression Inventory; stable and on medication for at least 12 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Volunteers in an acute stage of hallucination and dissociation; history of neurological disease affecting motor skills; recurrent epilepsy; dependence or abuse of alcohol and/or other illicit psychoactive substances; not adhere to Psychosocial Care Centers treatment during the survey period; 25% of absences in the sessions of Biodanza and in the treatment of Psychosocial Care Centers in the period of the research.

Expected outcomen 6 - Improvement of functionality in life domains (cognition, mobility, self-care, interpersonal relationships, life activities, participation) evaluated by World Health Disability Assessment Schedule 2.0, based on the observation of a variation of at least 5% in the pre- and post-intervention measurements.;Expected outcomen 1 - Improvement of depression, evaluated by the Beck Depression Inventory, from the observation of a variation of at least 5% in the pre- and post-intervention measurements. ;Expected outcomen 2 - Improvement of anxiety, evaluated by Beck Anxiety Inventory, from the observation of a variation of at least 5% in the pre- and post-intervention measurements. ;Expected outcomen 3 - Stress improvement, evaluated by Lipp's Inventory of Stress Symptoms for Adults, based on the observation of a variation of at least 5% in pre and post-intervention measurements. ;Expected outcomen 4 - Improvement of Self-esteem, evaluated by Rosenberg's Self-esteem Scale, based on the observation of a variation of at least 5% in pre and post-intervention measurements.;Expected outcomen 5 - Improvement of Life Satisfaction, evaluated by the Arrindell Life Satisfaction Scale, based on the observation of a variation of at least 5% in pre and post-intervention measurements.
