| The FIFA 11+ and Conventional heating protocols are expected to be able to promote a difference in functional performance and surface temperature in amateur and recreational soccer players. Functional performance was assessed by the Single Leg Hop, Triple Leg Hop, Six metter timed Hop and Vertical Jump tests and no significant differences were found for both amateur and recreational athletes in the acute moment. The surface temperature was assessed by an infrared thermal imager and significant differences (p> 0.05) were found for the anterior and posterior thigh and leg regions. | — |

| It is expected that the studied protocols are capable of promoting a difference in the surface temperature of the lower limbs of amateur and recreational soccer players. The surface temperature was assessed by an infrared thermal imager. Significant differences were found (p <0.05) for the anterior and posterior regions of the thigh and leg of the non-dominant limb for the athletes who performed the FIFA 11+ protocol and for the anterior and posterior regions of the thigh of the non-dominant limb for the athletes. athletes who performed the conventional protocol. | — |
