Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: any age; male or female; osteoradionecrosis; medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaws; who signed the Informed Consent Form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients who did not have the clinical conditions to undergo antimicrobian photodynamic therapy (aPDT); who did not agree with this therapeutic modality; stage 0

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the necrotic area will be completely epithelialized after spontaneous bone sequestration.The response to treatment was evaluated at the last consultation, according to Lopes et al. in 3 levels: Complete healing: the treated area was completely covered by the oral mucosa, with no bone exposure or suppuration. Partial healing: a reduction in exposed bone and symptoms, mainly pain, was found. No healing: the treatment was not effective, and the clinical aspects and symptoms remained similar to the period before treatment.
